V2Ray Client Downloads

Three clients cover desktop and mobile. v2rayN supports Windows, macOS and Linux desktops, while v2rayNG and v2flyNG run on Android. Choose your platform, then download the build for your system architecture.

Download by platform

Choose your platform

Four platform entries, with installers matched to your OS and CPU architecture. Each platform lists its system requirements, so you can check your device before downloading.

Windows

v2rayN offers two entries, the Desktop edition and the classic WPF edition, with the same feature set — pick whichever interface you prefer. The installer bundles the Xray core, so you can import a subscription and start using it right after installation.

Windows system requirements

Item Requirement
Operating system Windows 10 1809 or later, 64-bit
Processor architecture x64
Runtime .NET 8 Desktop Runtime, detected automatically by the installer
Network Access to a subscription server for importing nodes

Client lineup

The clients are split by platform and core: v2rayN for desktop across the board, v2rayNG as the primary mobile client, and v2flyNG as the core alternative. Pick your platform first, then decide based on core preference.

Client Platform Core Role
v2rayN Windows / macOS / Linux Xray-core Primary desktop client, with full subscription groups, routing rules and system proxy
v2rayNG Android Xray-core Primary mobile client, interface organized around the connection flow, with per-app proxying
v2flyNG Android V2Fly-core Alternative client; core behavior differs from Xray, for advanced comparison

Every download link points to build artifacts released by the client projects, and the version in each filename matches the current release. When a client ships a new version, the version numbers and links on this page update accordingly. If your system blocks the installation, follow the permission notes in each platform's requirements.

Installation steps

Three steps from download to connection

  1. Install the client

On Windows, run the installer and follow the wizard. On macOS, open the dmg and drag it into Applications. On Linux, install with dpkg -i or rpm -i. On Android, allow unknown sources and open the APK.

  2. Import a subscription or add a node

Paste the subscription URL into a subscription group and update it. Without a subscription, fill in the address, port, user ID, encryption method and transport protocol manually to create a working node.

  3. Connect and verify

Pick a node, set the routing mode and enable system proxy. Open a browser and visit any site — if the page loads normally, the connection is working.

Download FAQ

Installation and selection FAQ

Check your device architecture before downloading, then import a subscription after installation. The questions below cover selection, installation and first connection.

How do I know which version to download for my device?

On Windows and macOS, look at the processor architecture: choose the x64 build for Intel chips and the arm64 build for Apple M-series. On Android, look at the CPU architecture; most phones from 2015 onward are arm64, so choose the arm64-v8a build. For older devices or when unsure, choose the universal build.

What is the difference between the v2rayN Desktop and WPF editions?

The Desktop edition is the new cross-platform UI, with the same look on Windows, macOS and Linux, and new features land there first. The WPF edition is the classic native Windows interface, maintained long-term and stable. Both cover the same features, so pick whichever interface you prefer.

Should I choose v2rayNG or v2flyNG on Android?

v2rayNG uses the Xray core by default and gets protocol support and feature updates faster, so it is recommended for everyday use. v2flyNG uses the v2fly core and suits users who want V2Fly core features. You can install both and switch by importing the same subscription.

How do I install the client after downloading?

On Windows, run the installer and follow the wizard. On macOS, open the dmg file and drag the app into the Applications folder. On Android, allow installation from unknown sources in system settings, then open the APK file. On Linux, install the deb package with dpkg -i or the rpm package with rpm -i.

What should I do first after installing?

Import a subscription or add a node manually. With a subscription, paste the subscription URL into a subscription group and update it. Without one, fill in the address, port, user ID, encryption method and other fields manually. Then pick a node, set the routing mode and enable system proxy to connect.

Do v2rayN, v2rayNG and v2flyNG cost anything?

All three clients are open-source and free. Downloading and using them costs nothing. Node services are provided separately by subscription providers and are unrelated to the clients themselves.
